Never take the term “User Friendly” literally.
Since Microsoft Bob, cute avatars have mostly served to enrage users. It’s kind of frightening how large this thing is, if one takes the scale of the power outlet into account.

Dajiban FTW
The Dajiban (translated from “Dodge Van” phonetically) movement in Japan is wheels-off, insanely mesmerizing. They lower, strip down, and RACE full-size American vans. A race car/utility vehicle look is a critical part of the Dajiban aesthetic.

Attention Icon Designers
As a user experience/UI designer I have never once needed icons for a sausage, mittens, a bare backside, flip-flops, an old-fashioned shower tub, or a box of tissues.
